Sinatra Tribute Show and Dinner, Prague, Czech Republic

Prague's riverfront Art Restaurant Mánes hosts a Frank Sinatra tribute evening every weekend. It's a lovely way to enjoy dinner and drinks accompanied by your favourite classics.

The following video gives you a taste of the performance, which features Daniel Klánský and Sophia Lamoš. Daniel is a great singer, who also sings opera at the Grand Hotel Bohemia Mozart Dinner, but he isn't a Frank Sinatra impersonator.

We arrived at 6.30pm and were offered a welcome glass of prosecco before taking our seats at a table for two with a good view to both the stage and the river.

We had the beef menu with the all-inclusive drinks package. It’s possible to purchase a ticket just for the concert and pay for any drinks separately. Similarly, you can purchase concert and dinner which includes a welcome drink.

We were soon enjoying a good bottle of Côtes du Rhône.

Dinner is served at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm. Service was friendly and professional. Everything was absolutely delicious and we didn't feel rushed.

The menu:
Pea cream, butter croutons, fava beans, basil creme fraiche, watercress oil, afila sprouts.
Beef Bourguignon in red wine gravy, fried oyster mushrooms, onions, potato and celery puree.
Sweet mini dumplings, vanilla custard.

The show began with Daniel explaining that he isn't a Frank Sinatra impersonator and the evening was a tribute to both the man and the songs of the time. The first song was Come Fly with Me (Jimmy Van Heusen, Sammy Cahn).

On the third song, I’ve Got a Crush on You (George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin), we were introduced to the beautiful Sophia Lamoš for a duet.

After about thirty minutes, there was a break. The second half was equally entertaining.

The show ended to rapturous applause and encores. Everyone seemed happy, although most left soon after the end. These two ladies said they really enjoyed the show.

We were treated to a beautiful view upon leaving.

We really enjoyed our visit. The Sinatra Tribute Show is a treat for both tourists and locals alike. If you decide to book a ticket, then include the dinner as the food was delicious.
