I decided to create this video to pass along how I made a "roller board' and power adapter for the Broadway Limited Reading T1 I recently acquired. I wanted to weather the drivers and valve gear and came up with a way to power the unit with DC voltage via a harness. It worked well, and I can power a steam engine and airbrush the drivers as they turn.
I also made a bit of an "opps" in the disassembly of the T1. I wasn't going to show this (as it is rather embarrassing!), but in keeping with my motto of showing The Good, The Bad and The Ugly I decided to "fess up" and make a segment on the error of my ways! This starts at the 40:45 time mark.
