The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route July 2024 / GDMBR / Days 21 to 26 episode 7- Red Rock Lake Wildlife Refuge to Pinedale, WY

Day 21 - we crossed into Idaho and made it to Warm Lake Campground in Idaho. There was a long section of sandy gravel. Some nice people provided us with dinner upon our arrival
Day 22 - I forgot my tent stakes at the campground (the host found them and sent them home for me!) and made it to John D Rockefeller Park and got lucky to get a sight since it was a Friday and all the sites were full since it was a weekend.
Day 23 - First Views of the Tetons and I entered the park. Made it to Lava Mountain Lodge with some gorgeous riding today
Day 24 - Tough riding today over Union Pass, lots of ATV's. Late start as usual and decided to stop at the Strawberry Safety Shelter because I didn't have tent stakes
Day 25 & 26 - Made it to Pinedale. I was short on food so I was an angry cyclist since I was anxious to make it to town and take advantage of an early arrival. Took a rest day to ship some items home and get a package with my 1 man tent.
