Flash Sentry's Parents: My Wish

Hey guys! I hope you like this animatic I made. I actually made it a while ago, but I was nervous of what people would think. I feel like that often when posting my finished works for the first time. I created this video because I thought it would be sad, but also touching to see what happened to Flash's parents, Wishawhirl Sentry and Static Electricity after they got captured. When Flash's folks were caught, his mother told him to take his brother and go to the orphanage because they knew there was nopony that would be able to come rescue them in time and Wishawhirl and Static didn't want their children to suffer the same fate as them.This animatic shows Flash and Base's parents chained up in a dungeon, recalling the memories they had raising Flash Sentry and First Base, and making one final wish for their sons. That they will be okay and be able to find a family or families who will love them and be able to care for them now that their birth parents aren't able to and they hope Flash and Base don't forget everything they've taught them. This animatic also shows Flash and Base's long journey to the orphanage and how he and his brother wound up being adopted by separate families. The song I used is called My Wish. I heard the lyrics of the original and I knew it would be great for my project, but I wanted the music to be slower, more emotional, and I also wanted it to be a duet. I can sing, but I don't have a recording studio and I knew I would sound funny singing for the parts of both parents. Plus I couldn't find a kareoke track with the right melody. Then I came across a video of two people on a stage singing to a piano version of the song and I knew the audio was just perfect! I lowered the pitch a little so they would sound like how I wanted Flash's parents to sound and it worked beautifully. There was only one problem though. Because of the title of the video, I knew the names of the people who sung it, but I was afraid to ask them because I don't even know them and they might not read my comment anyway because it seems like they haven't been on their channel for a while. I know they didn't write the song, but it is their voices I'm using in this video. So, I decided to credit them and put a link at the bottom of the description so you'll know where I got it from. Tyler, Lisa, whoever you are, if you ever see this, please don't be mad. I just liked your singing so much! It really helped me give the characters the emotion I wanted them to display. Thank you for your talents. The original song is by Rascall Flatts and while I did draw all the pictures, the characters and world of my little pony are property of Hasbro. I am not trying to steal credit from anybody. I am simply attempting to give a compelling backstory to one of my favorite MLP characters.
