Glengarriff Nature Reserve - Lady Bantry's Lookout and the Meadow Walk | West Cork Weekends

Another fine way to spend the day and stretch the legs, good for everyone and that includes pets. Glengarriff nature reserve has over a half dozen trails and plenty of spots to picnic. Once part of Lord Bantrys estate and over 300 hectacres its now open to the public year round. All are pretty flat walks except for the The Lady Bantry's Lookout at the front with its sharp climb and stone steps but what a view, you cans see all the way from Kenmare to Bantry. That hike is at the front entrance we did the the river walk as well, it's a good 3km healthy trek. It's beautiful day out no cars all nature and river streams. West Cork cant be beat!
