Finally, mga Ka-lakbay, here's the OFFICIAL NATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2017 THEME SONG entitled "WE ARE BLESSED, JOVENES!" Composed by Mr. Chester Hans Tolentino, Music by Mr. Mark Anthony Gregorio Tolentino (former Archdiocesan Youth Leader), Vocal Arrangement by Mr. Gino Torres of the Jesuit Music Ministry, and Interpreted by the world-renowned BUKAS PALAD MUSIC MINISTRY who popularized songs like IN HIM ALONE, ANIMA CHRISTI, TAKE AND RECEIVE, AWIT NG PAGHAHANGAD and many other hymns that we continue to listen in our Churches up to the present day.

On the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, the Archdiocese of Zamboanga shares this music video to our young people with profound joy as today’s gospel also invites us to appreciate our National Youth Day 2017 coming celebration in a manner that goes beyond our vibrant and colourful physical preparations -- may Jesus Christ, who transfigures himself into the Divine also transform our NYD2017 experience this November into a truly spiritually enriching encounter with our Lord through this song.

The National Youth Day 2017 is happening in Zamboanga City on November 6-10 this year. We would like to thank our ever-supportive Archbishop of Zamboanga, Most Rev. Romulo T. Dela Cruz, DD for always believing in the young people, our Youth Director Fr. Leh C. Taib, Ed.D. and all the Clergy of the Archdiocese of Zamboanga for guiding us, the CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Youth under the leadership of Most Rev. Leopoldo Jaucian, SVD, DD and his team from the ECY Secretariat for supporting us. Our heartfelt gratitude as well goes to Fr. Ro Atilano, SJ, a Zamboagueño Jesuit Priest who helped us make the production of this album possible during his stint as the Jesuit Music Ministry Director. To our young people, whose passion and commitment to be of service to the Church have made all of this successful, your untiring efforts is what fuels our desire to set the world on fire in Christ's love!
