Hovsana Kumciyan 1915'te 14 yaşında idi.
Thanks to the Armenian Film Foundation and Richard G. Hovannisian Oral History Collection, hundreds of testimonies have been integrated into the Visual History Archive, most of which were recorded even before USC Shoah Foundation was founded.
Hovsana Kumjian's family story is one of those available for research and education through her audio-visual testimony - she was only 14 during the genocide. In this clip, Ms. Kumjian sings a rare but powerful lament describing the brutal impact the genocide had on its victims.
