1) No, you don’t need to apply it or strain it while it’s hot. That’s just a quick way to get injured.
2) No, it didn’t grow my hair in 7 days. Anyone applying aloe, eggs, rice water or flaxseeds, claiming it grew their hair in 7 days or a month is plainly and unethical clown disrespecting you.
3) I used purified water to make my gel.
4) If you can use purified water to wash your hair, please do so! It will most likely enhance results.
5) 1 week passed between my overnight flaxseed gel experiment and this one.
6) I braid my hair to make it easier to notice changes to the hair.
