The Rock-afire Explosion - After Hours Medley (dbx Decoded and Remastered)

This is the After Hours Medley, performed by the Rock-afire Explosion for Showbiz Pizza Place's After Hours nights. It consists of two parts, with a total of six iconic 80's songs, being played by the Rock-afire Explosion, an animatronic band created by Creative Engineering.

This is part of a project of mine to restore, decode, and remaster many of the Rock-afire Explosion's showtapes and segments. This is a process which involves sourcing the original reels, restoring them to the best of my ability in software, and then running them through an original dbx Type II noise reduction decoder. They are then equalized to the original CEI standards.

Keep in mind, there are still tape dropouts, hiss, and other glitches present. This is due to the condition of the tape copy used, and while I have attempted to restore the tape as much as I can, there will always be some issues present due to the analogue medium.

If you'd like to keep more up to date with this project, you can follow the Internet Archive page, where I will be uploading more showtapes/segments as I finish them. Keep in mind this is a long process, so there may be long gaps in between releases.
