GR 20 | Corsica from Coast to Coast | Part 3 of 3

Der letzte, aber nicht weniger spektakuläre dritte Teil meines 2024er GR20 Trekkings erzählt vom zehnten bis zum vierzehnten Tag und meinen Abenteuern im harten Norden Korsikas, von den ersten echten Härten, Erschöpfung und dem Willen, trotzdem weiter durchzuziehen, aber auch von der Schönheit der rauhen Bergwelt Nord-Korsikas.
Von Sainte Lucie de Porto-Vecchio (anstelle von Conca) den ganzen Weg entlang der Höhenzüge des Korsischen Gebirges bis hin nach Calvi (anstelle von Calenzana) ging der Trip insgesamt über 207 Kilometer und ca. 15.500 Meter Aufstieg und ebenso 15.500 Meter wieder hinab (Höhenmeter nach realistischerer Einschätzung Einheimischer). Von bezaubernden Tierbegegnungen über halsbrecherische Streckenabschnitte, durch wunderschöne Landschaftspanoramen bis zu Hagelsturm, verschneiten Bergen und den nordwestlichen Sandstränden, begleitet von tollen Menschen, mal himmelhochjauchzend und teils tief erschöpft, war wirklich alles dabei - ein unvergessliches Wander-Abenteuer, das man so wohl nur einmal im Leben erlebt!

The last, but no less spectacular third part of my 2024 GR20 trek tells of the tenth to the fourteenth day and my adventures in the harsh north of Corsica, of the first real hardships, exhaustion and the will to keep going, but also of the beauty of the rugged mountains of northern Corsica.
From Sainte Lucie de Porto-Vecchio (instead of Conca) all the way along the ridges of the Corsian Mountains to Calvi (instead of Calenzana), the trip included a total of 207 kilometers and about 15,500 meters of ascent and 15,500 meters of descent (Altitude according to more realistic estimates by locals). From enchanting animal encounters to breakneck stretches of trail, through beautiful landscape panoramas to hailstorms, snow-covered mountains and the north-western sandy beaches, accompanied by great people, sometimes elated and sometimes deeply exhausted, it really had everything - an unforgettable hiking adventure that you probably only experience once in a lifetime!
