Euro-nymph rod and jig streamers are sometimes a deadly combination for trout. After discovering this spot with a lot of trouts in it, I was lucky enough that my jig streamer was irresistible to a decent amount of trout from this pool. Very gentle and subtle jigs were the key to success this time.
