"0 exit" (Demon) by MinAY | Geometry Dash 2.2

This is MinAY's new solo level, and I think it's their best by a good margin. It's still very much in their style, featuring clean and glowy designs with some simple effects on top. However, this one has even stronger theming thanks to some included art and also a fitting bossfight towards the end. This makes it much more interesting as a whole, while also allowing for a cool climax, seen from around 1:07. I really like the design for this boss, and while the chase sequence itself is a bit lackluster due to no particular attacks, it's still very cool visually. The way that you have to sacrifice yourself using the other dual cube from 1:26 is also very clever, supposedly to try to "beat" the boss before the fake death at the end, and it largely makes up for the lack of attack patterns for me. At times, the level gets very flashy, which could make this a bit difficult to watch or play for some. However, I think it mostly makes sense for the theming and song. Still, I'm glad MinAY put a clear warning at the start for this.

In terms of gameplay, this is very straightforward with the aim being an Easy Demon rating. The aforementioned flashiness can affect the gameplay on your first playthrough, but MinAY used indicators when it's at its worst, and otherwise solid objects and obstacles are clear enough in my opinion. Its synchronization to the song makes it flow quite well, which helps too. MinAY told me that this song was actually made for the level itself, and that's not something you see every day. I'm glad the level also turned out so nicely.
