RK Misra explains how unplanned growth in urban areas impacts mobility for residents. Subsequently, an increase in the difficulty of mobility for inhabitants affects the environment altogether. Passenger vehicles contribute to much of the pollution prevalent in major cities such as Bangalore. He is the Co-Founder (President-Ecosystems partnership ) of YULU Bikes, a Public Bike Sharing System (PBS) which is working to solve personal mobility challenges of Urban India.
He is the Founder Director of 'Centre for Smart Cities', a 'Think & Do' organization, a repository of global best practices for planning, implementation & management of Smart Cities in collaboration with leading global organizations.
