Four years before Mark Trevorrow created his comic character BOB DOWNE, he and Gina Riley (of KATH & KIM fame) created CORALEE HOLLOW, in 1980 - a character inspired by Aussie daytime TV hostess Annette Allison. In December 1988, a dream came true for Mark & Gina when they appeared as BOB & CORALEE on Annette's TV show GOOD MORNING MELBOURNE (co-hosted by Roy Hampson), to promote BOB & CORALEE'S PICK A HIT, their long-running cabaret game show at the Last Laugh. The brassy, ballsy Coralee would later be seen on FAST FORWARD, SOMETHING STUPID, BIG GIRLS BLOUSE and THE BOB DOWNE SHOW. 'Funny lady!'
