In this video I am travelling to Burgundy in France to visit the famous vineyard "Clos de Vougeot". Afterwards, I will take the road of the Grand Crus and move a bit more south to the medieval town Beaune. This road follows all the historical vineyards of burgundy and passes through all the lovely towns in the Côte d'Or.

The Clos de Vougeot is an enclosed vineyard that has been built up by the cistercian monks of Citeaux in the XII century. You can feel the history of vine in the Châteaux du Clos de Vougeot, accros the centuries. Beaune is a typical burgundy town with its nice historic buildings. We will visit one of the oldest medieval hospitals in the world, the "Hôtel-Dieu"
