portugal with our toddler and how we ended up at urgent care :(

this is so not the cute portugal vlog I was planning on filming! what started off as a fun trip to lisbon and comporta as a family turned into an unfortunate introduction to the healthcare system in portugal and the netherlands. so instead of showing you cute places to visit while traveling here, I share about our experience dealing with doctors and antibiotics and all the things. honestly though, this has been a helpful experience as we consider moving to europe long term, but man has it been stressful!

I will share some portugal recs here though to try and redeem this vlog in some way :)

LISBON

we wanted to take Nico to the aquarium because we heard it's amazing!
we wanted to visit Sintra again (beautiful palaces in a forest outside the city)

COMPORTA:
the sublime beach club was amazing!
we also wanted to try sal comporta, sem porta, and comporta cafe
we wanted to get dinner at quinta da comporta
