Event Description: In the field of behavioral health, involving natural supports in crisis management as well as the recovery process is key to successful treatment outcomes. This webinar will provide strategies for identifying and engaging natural supports during crisis, treatment and to help maintain recovery. Practitioners will come to understand the role natural supports and family-centered approaches play in creating a positive and supportive environment for the road of recovery. Caregivers who are involved in treatment, understand its importance, work with treatment providers, and are engaged in recovery, are more likely to see successful recovery in their loved one than those who aren’t involved, National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
