熊本県の天草西海岸にある魚貫崎（おにきざき）岩礁の向こうの水平線に沈む夕陽も楽しめる。
上物ではチヌやマダイが釣れることもあるがメインはクロ。
底物ではイシダイ、イシガキダイ、根魚などが狙える。秋にイシダイは大物も期待できる。
