Join me in this week’s video as I head out on a solo campervan adventure to the Peak District in my VW T6 campervan. I find a quiet vanlife park-up near Castleton, just off Old Mam Tor Road, before braving sub-zero temperatures for a solo hike the next morning.
The plan? A winter hike up Mam Tor, along the iconic Great Ridge, over to Lose Hill, and back down through Castleton. With freezing conditions and strong winds, the big question is… was this a bad idea?
