I left work around 7 o'clock because my work ended late, and the boss of the department informed me that "Pope Francis died." In 2014, the year when I joined our company, the Pope visited Korea and I met him in person in Gwanghwamun. The Pope, who I met for the first time in my life, died of pneumonia today, April 21, 2025. Something doesn't feel real. He was such a wonderful and respectful person, but I am very confused that he passed away at the age of 88. I got off work on a motorcycle without knowing that the bag door was wide open. When I arrived home, I couldn't see a portable battery, a cable, and two notebooks, but I might have spilled them on the road. Oh, nothing really works, and I'm going to be frustrated. I hope I can find my portable battery and notebooks on my seat when I go to work tomorrow. Please.

회사 일이 늦게 끝나서 7시 쯤 퇴근하게 됐는데 부서 상사님께서 "프란치스코 교황님이 선종하셨네."라고 알려주셨다. 2014년 내가 우리 회사에 입사했던 해에 교황님께서 방한해주셔서 광화문에서 실제로 뵌 적이 있었는데, 내 평생 살면서 처음으로 실제로 본 교황님께서 2025년 4월 21일 오늘 폐렴으로 돌아가셨다고 한다. 뭔가 실감이 안난다. 정말 훌륭하시고 존경스러운 분이셨는데 88세 나이로 돌아가셨다니 참 착잡하다. 뭔가 정신이 빠져버렸는지 가방문이 활짝 열려있는 것도 모르고 오토바이를 타고 퇴근을 했다. 집에 도착해보니 보조배터리랑 케이블이랑 수첩 2개가 보이지 않는데 도로에 흘려버렸을지도 모르겠다. 아, 진짜 되는 일이 없고 답답해 미칠 것 같다. 부디 내일 출근했을 때 내 자리에서 보조배터리랑 수첩들을 찾을 수 있었으면 좋겠다. 제발.
