How far would you go for fresh water?

Fresh water is an essential source of life and a pillar of good health – yet only 3% of the water on Earth is fresh. People have gone to war over drinkable water, and perhaps in the future, we may even travel to space for it.

Curator Janice Li highlights the vital role of freshwater in shaping health and ecosystems and the consequences mismanagement has had on communities, ancient societies, as well as ecological solutions used to regenerate uninhabitable regions.
