Campaigners are hoping a new film about pregnancy loss can raise awareness and bring change as data shows black women and women of colour are 2.3 times more likely to suffer a bad outcome giving birth.
Actress and producer Pippa Bennett-Warner, who stars in the film, says, "It shouldn't matter what colour you are when you walk into a maternity ward, but it does."
The film, 22+1, is produced by author Pippa Vosper, who suffered the loss of her son when she was five months pregnant.
