Mushroom Cup With Outside Drifting Bike Only In

Almost 4 years ago… Wait ALREADY! I was a bad mkwii player, so I decided to go for a speedrun wr and succeed to get the ODB only, mushroom cup and shell WR. They were terrible and actual good players beat both of my wr… ODB as grown a lot since that last wr of mine and players did ODM on mg to get the wr, but I had a secret weapon, doing the glitch. I don’t know why nobody did it before, its not even hard, but anyways.
So for the run

LC: Quite good, got a shroom, so I did the shortcut lap 1. I tried bagging on this one, but it didn’t work, the chaos was too strong and ended up not being that fast, so I didn’t go for it in this run. Unfortunate bananas placement also.

MMM: The driving was quite good, but the banana at the last corner is just cruel.

MG: 3/3 glitch, shooting star is not an easy vehicle for the glitch, so I create my own setup to be consistent. The only cool technique that odb has is now dead for speedrunning, no need to thank me!

TF: It was great, I thought that I would be stressed during this track since I had just got 3/3, put it was ok, and managed to drive a good last course.


I feel sort of bad to have destroyed the last wr. I’m quite happy with this run, it was fun to dive back into the first category that worked for me, now that I’m good at this game. I might try to come back to this category, maybe in 4 years… See y’all in 2030!
