Fann Wong thanks herself while accepting Christopher Lee’s Star Awards 2023 prize

Christopher Lee beat other seasoned hosts Quan Yifeng, Darren Lim, Dennis Chew and Bryan Wong to win the Best Programme Host. He wasn’t able to attend the ceremony as he was promoting a movie in Taiwan.

The actor's acceptance speech was delivered by his wife Fann Wong. “Without you, there wouldn’t be Chris’ homecooked meals. Thank you for being my guinea pig,” read Fann, before saying “thank you” to herself and patting herself on the shoulder.
