Cedar Point’s Sawmill Creek Resort | Full Resort Tour, Stay + Golf Course Review @ Cedar Point

Do you ever wonder if it is worth it to stay in a Cedar Point Hotel? Theme parks can be quite a challenge, but we are here to help you plan out the perfect day at a park!

In this video, we visited Cedar Point’s Sawmill Creek Resort. This Resort is located just outside of Cedar Point in Huron, Ohio only minutes from Cedar Point! One of our favorite amenities at this resort includes a full 18 hole golf course.

We stayed in a king room which was newly refurbished! Featuring a mini fridge and walk in shower, the accommodations were really nice. This was such a cool experience!

The lobby was quaint and offered multiple intimate seating areas. Adjacent to the lobby was a rotunda featuring an indoor pool and market with Sawmill merchandise and refreshments. Upstairs there is the Hideaway bar where you can sit back and relax. In addition to the indoor pool, they also feature an outdoor pool deck. For breakfast, the Harvest offers a full all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. For dinner, Miller’s table offers a semi-fine dining table experience. Really all the things you may need to make your stay more comfortable!


Next, we played the Sawmill Creek Golf Course. This is an 18 hole Tom Fazio designed course. We played the back nine holes, designed with a Carolina feel. With large weeping willow trees and picturesque ponds, this course is breathtaking! We enjoyed the course and highly recommend taking time to golf. We golfed early Sunday morning before heading to Cedar Point.

If you are looking for a full Resort with close proximity to Cedar Point then this is the resort for you! Overall, we had a fabulous time at Cedar Point’s Sawmill Creek!!! We had a great stay and it really was a nice hotel for the price. We would stay again!!
