The show is made on a budget, but it is created by people with a lot of passion and the end result is very entertaining. The story of the series captures the events in the aftermath of Kung Lao’s victory in the Mortal Kombat tournament, where he defeated Shang Tsung and saved Earthrealm. Now, he trains a new generation of warriors for the next tournament as the old threats start showing up one more time. Yes, the ending could have been better and the show could have been extended for a longer run, but we still had some enigmatic villains who appeared and made things interesting.
