Fresh northern front rolled in today and cranked up the winds in Port Aransas, Texas – solid 23-30kts from the north/northeast, perfect for winter wave riding and boosts along the jetty and Gulf side! The crew came out in full force: kiters charging, wing foilers ripping, and even an e-foil slicing through the chop.
I'm sidelined recovering from rotator cuff surgery, so no riding for me – but I brought the vibes with beers and Buzzballs to kick off the session and join the peanut gallery from the beach.
Classic Texas coastal winter: cold front magic, multi-sport stoke, and good times on the water. Port A is one of the best spots for these frontal NE blasts – easy beach launch, flat water near the jetty, rolling waves farther out.
