Family Dinners A Week Of Meals What We Eat In A Week Kosher Orthodox Jewish Quick And Easy Family Dinners For The Week || Kosher || Sonya’s Prep



I love watching dinner prep videos to get loads of inspiration for what to cook for my family and thought that this would make a fun video for you to see a week of meals that I Prepare as a busy working mom. I’ll take you along day by day and show you what I prep.

Recipes:

🍚 Mujadara:

Lentil rice with chicken and crispy potatoes
1/2 cup lentil (soaked for 10 minutes in boiling water)cooked 10 minutes and strain
1 1/2 cups basmati rice and 1 tablespoon of salt cooked for 7 minutes in boiling water and strain.
Sauté 6-7 chicken drumsticks with some oil,
turmeric, salt and pepper on both sides for few minutes.
Sauté onion till golden brown, add turmeric and 1/2 cup small raisins mix for another minute and remove from heat.
In a Teflon pot add 2 tablespoons oil, turmeric and sliced potatoes, on top arrange the chicken. Add half mix rice and lentil then half onion and raisins, repeat again with the rest.
Cover the pot and put on medium heat for 5-7
minutes,reduce heat to low for another 50 minutes.

🥔 Creamy baked potato:
2 tbspn of butter mixed with 2 tbsp of oil heated
5 cloves of crushed garlic
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Heavy cream
2 tsp of Onion soup mix
