The Pune FIDE Women's Grand Prix is the fifth of six events in the 2024-2025 Women's Grand Prix cycle, which is one of the qualification paths for the next Women's Candidates Tournament.

SCHEDULE
The Pune FIDE Women's Grand Prix takes place between April 14 and April 23, with rounds one through eight starting at 5:30 a.m. ET / 11:30 CEST / 3:00 p.m. IST and round nine starting an hour earlier.

FORMAT
The Pune FIDE Women's Grand Prix is a 10-player single round-robin. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment per move starting from move one. Players earn Grand Prix points according to their final standings.

PRIZES
The Pune FIDE Women's Grand Prix has an €80,000 prize fund. Based on the event's final standings, players also earn Grand Prix points. The two players with the most Grand Prix points at the end of the six-event series earn spots in the next Women's Candidates Tournament.

GRAND PRIX PRIZES
The 2024-2025 FIDE Women's Grand Prix also features a €120,000 prize fund distributed among the top 10 finishers of this Women's Grand Prix cycle.

LOCATION
The Pune FIDE Women's Grand Prix will take place at the Amanora The Fern Hotels and Club in Pune, India.
