• UPDATE (Jul 2024): These escalators have been identified as O&K.
Old disused escalators that have been turned into stairs! Something that you don't see everyday! This is my second time seeing such escalator after the KONE TransVario one in Antigua and Barbuda but that one still has most of its steps remain.
In these escalators, all the steps have been replaced with wooden steps (with marble floors on them) and the handrails have been replaced with metal ones. Even all the stop button and keyswitches have been removed, that blank rectangular thing on the skirts is most likely where the buttons and keyswitches used to be. These are believed to be O&K judging by the defunct skirting lights on both end of each unit. These "man powered elevators" are located in the shopping arcade part of Edificio Olympo which looks kind of sketchy and run down with almost nobody in it. I had seen these before in late 2019 but forgot to film, but now that I came here again in 2022 I decided to film them cause they're quite unusual! Where else can you find something like this?
