Have you ever wondered what the difference was between acoustic guitar gauge sizes? Hey everyone I’m Jeremy and welcome to the channel. To put it simply….Gauge size is the thickness of the guitar string. This not only affects the feel of the guitar but it also affects the tone of the guitar too. We are using D’Addario's XT strings in phosphor bronze. The 5 gauge sizes are Extra Light, Custom Light, Light, Light bottoms/Medium Top and Mediums.
