Crochet Easy Slouchy Beanie in 3 hours | In-depth tutorial for complete beginners

Today we are making this gorgeous slouchy beanie.
We will only use a double crochet (DC) stitch with it's variations, so it is a pretty easy project to make :)

Materials:
1 skein of Yarnart Melody (100 gr = 230 m)
5.5 mm (head part) & 4.5 mm (ribbing part) crochet hooks
tapestry needle
scissors

Abbreviations:
• DC - double crochet
• ss - slip stitch

Slouchy beanie crochet pattern:

Round 1: make a slip knot, chain 3, place 11 DC into the 1st chain to form a ring, pull the tail end to close the ring, ss to join (take the tail end to wieve it in)
Round 2: chain 2, 2 DC in each stitch around, join with ss. (Total 22 DC)
Round 3: chain 2, 1 DC in the first stitch + 2 DC in each 2d stitch, join with ss. (Total 33 DC)
Round 4: chain 2, 1 DC in first 2 stitches + 2 DC in each 3d stitch, join with ss.(Total 44 DC)
Round 5: chain 2, 1 DC in first 3 stitches + 2 DC in each 4th stitch, join with ss. (Total 55 DC)
Round 6: chain 2, 1 DC in first 4 stitches + 2 DC in each 5th stitch, join with ss. (Total 66 DC)
Round 7: chain 2, 1 DC in first 5 stitches + 2 DC in each 6th stitch, join with ss. (Total 77 DC)
Rounds 8 - 21: chain 2, 1 DC in each stitch around, join with ss. (Total 77 DC per row
Rounds 22 - 29: chain 2, 1 front post DC + 1 back post DC, join with ss. (Total 77 stitches per row)
*do not slip stitch the last row, for more details watch the video.
*chain 3 and chain 2 do not count as a stitch.
