“爆竹声中一岁除”，为了迎接2025年的到来，建筑师刘家琨在阳朔糖舍点了一把火，烧掉了为新年特别设计的装置——“竹塔”。 塔取材于阳朔当地用于制作竹炭的竹子，塔身源自喀斯特地貌形成的阳朔山体。塔体上方插八根“乡村少年恶作剧”的竹竿，竹塔内部上方悬挂一窜“爆竹”直至地面。刘家琨手举火把绕塔三圈，在新年的倒数声中，点火。八根六米长竹竿瞬间炸开“竹花”，火光直冲天际，爆竹声起，新年至。#安邸AD对话建筑师 #一城一迹

"Amid firecrackers, the old year departs." As 2025 approached, architect Liu Jiakun set a ritual blaze at Yangshuo Sugar House in Guilin, reducing his Bamboo Tower for the New Year to embers and air. The tower was woven from local bamboo, the same that turns to charcoal in village kilns. Its silhouette was a quiet echo of Yangshuo’s karst peaks. Eight slender poles, like the playful pranks of village children, pierced the sky. Inside, a string of firecrackers stretched from the summit to the earth. Torch in hand, Liu Jiakun traced three slow circles around the tower before igniting it as the New Year’s countdown echoed. Like a fleeting miracle, the bamboo poles burst into blossoms of flame. A roar of crackling bamboo, a sky ablaze—the New Year was born.
