The crew of Bridge Four come to rescue Dalinar’s surrounded army from certain death on the battlefield. But Kaladin, haunted by his past, has to swear his oath if he wants the power from his spren Syl to save them all.

I worked on this with a friend of mine, Rafles, on this animatic. He animated all of the VFX and did a phenomenal job bringing everything to light. We worked really hard on this one.

The source material for this is from The Way of Kings, Book 1 of the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. Narrated by Kate Reading and Michael Kramer. I also used the voice of Syl by Nora Achrati from the Graphic Audio version.

I made this with Storyboard Pro, Blender, and Adobe Premiere. I used free assets for the scene in Blender.

The music is sourced from Attack on Titan.
