The final day of the modern day Trocadero, London. Following redevelopment in 1984, The Trocadero became a mixed-use Leisure, Cinema and Shopping centre aimed primarily at tourists. In 1996, a massive SegaWorld opened to the public occupying 6 floors - but this was short-lived. Huge losses meant that Sega & Pepsi withdrew from the project and the premises were rebranded 'Funland'.
Funland operated until a very sudden closure in July 2011, amid unpaid bills and acrimony.
This clip is dark but shows all that remains visible to the public on the final day, with some of the original Segaworld games still scattered around the complex.
