Kelsey's Ming Aralia | House Calls With The Plant Doctor | Apartment Therapy

Every week, our resident “plant doctor” Hilton Carter, takes us behind the scenes into his own home jungle to answer questions about plant care and tips. But we thought it could be fun to, er, grow the series: sending him into real homes where the plants aren’t always quite so healthy. That's why we’re launching House Calls with the Plant Doctor.

In this week's episode Hilton helps Kelsey out with his Ming Aralia. He has had Ming for years and all of a sudden, she took a turn for the worse, so Hilton walks Kelsey through how to save ming!
He talks about how the placement of a plant can affect its success. He also explains how to know if ming needs repotting, the best practices for pruning, as well as the ideal watering schedule.
