Here is a how-to video if you would like to make your own spindle. I sell these spindles on my store as the base for the different 3D printed tools.
I begin with 3/8 x 8-inch carriage bolts for the larger spindles, and 1/4 x 6-inch carriage bolts for the small spindles.
