The Allegro moderato by Schubert, D. 571 (composed in July 1817), is an unfinished movement, ending presumably where the recapitulation would have started. It is usually considered to be the 1st movement of a Piano Sonata in F-sharp minor when combined with D604 (Andante), and D570 (Scherzo and Allegro, also unfinished). Several people have attempted completions of D571. Here, I play this movement alone in the completion by Paul Badura-Skoda, as published in the Henle edition.
