When a Suspect is Informed They Just Killed Someone

In this JCS Inspired true crime case, we’re going to look at a case involving a man who drew a weapon in what he believed was self-defense and ended up killing someone.

On October 6, 2012, Cayde Lish met coworkers at a bar for a few drinks. As he was leaving, Jeremiah Paiz began to harass him, as he had done once previously at a different location, although the two did not otherwise know each other. Piaz threatened Lish, and said he and his friends were going to ‘get’ him. He then began hitting Lish, who drew a knife in fear of his life.

As always, we'll also find a bit about the psychology behind the interrogation and what is most likely happening in the mind of the Lish.
