Presented at ISUOG 2021, Dr. Miguel Branco from Coimbra, Portugal discusses the neurosonography guidelines in various clinical case, from basic examination to the fetal neurosonogram. Fetal neurosonography is multiplanar evaluation with combination of axial, coronal and sagittal planes. It is commonly accepted that targeted fetal neurosonography has a much greater diagnostic potential than does the basic screening examination and is particularly helpful in the evaluation of complex malformations.
