I’m Firoozeh, and today I’m taking you with me through a peaceful and beautiful day in the heart of rural life in Iran 🌾
In this video, you will join me from morning till evening to see how we make traditional dairy products using completely old-style village methods.
With a traditional goat-skin churn, I turned yogurt into fresh doogh, and then separated the soft, aromatic homemade butter 🧈✨
Using the freshly made doogh, along with local rice, chickpeas, and fresh herbs from our own garden, I cooked a delicious traditional Doogh Soup (Ash-e Doogh).
While the soup was cooking, I also baked Saj bread, hot and fresh from the griddle, and served it together with our meal 🔥🍲
My sister and my nieces joined me, and together we enjoyed a simple but wonderfully tasty village lunch.
