Alfa Romeo Stelvio/Giulia 2.0L Catless Downpipe Install – Full Step-by-Step Guide

PARTS NEEDED/INSTRUCTIONS:

(IF DELETING EGR SYSTEM, DO THIS AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS INSTALLATION BY WELDING THE PORT SHUT ON THE NEW DOWNPIPE)

INSTRUCTIONS: Remove strut tower brace, disconnect upstream 02 sensor Remove windshield wipers, Remove cowl, Remove Wiper motor, remove coolant pipe bracket, unhook heater core line, unbolt coolant pipe 2 bolt flange, unhook lower connection on that same coolant pipe, manuever and remove coolant line, remove heat shield, unbolt downpipe, unbolt downpipe bracket (left hand side), raise car, unbolt egr, unbolt downpipe bracket (righthand side), pull catalytic converter from top.

3/8 FLEX HEAD RATCHET
3/8 EXTENSIONS
17MM SOCKET - WINDSHIELD WIPER NUTS
FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER (SUPER THIN PRYBAR)
3/8 DRIVE 10MM
3/8 TO 1/4 DRIVE EXTENSION
1/4 DRIVE SWIVEL
1/4 DRIVE 10MM

PENETRATING FLUID

OPEN ENDED FLEX HEAD RATCHET SET

DRILL (INCASE DOWNPIPE BOTTOM CONNECTION BOLTS ARE TOO BIG AND DON'T FIT WITH STOCK EXHAUST 2 BOLT FLANGE)

HIGH TEMP RTV - FOR COOLANT PIPE IF NOT REPLACING GASKET

COOLANT PIPE GASKET (OPTIONAL)
