The Magpul PDR-C is a prototype gun made by Magpul. It uses the PDW concept and feels a lot like a P90, except that it uses 5.56 stanag magazines. It makes the gun really small (about 50 cm), but with the advantage to still use regular mag and cartridges.

This airsoft version seems really cool to me. The finish is very nice, with a beautiful matte black color. Its power, 360 fps, is good enough to me. The hop up is fine, the gun has nice performances, especially for its size.

Several problems though : the room in the battery compartment is a bit small, you lose a lot of bbs each time you pull out a magazine (between 6 and 8) and the pistol grip is very small, which may feel uncomfortable for some people.

Also, I find the ambidextrous mag release button a bit hard to push, especially on the left side.

Finally, only my PTS magazines work in my model. The few china made magazines and G&P magazines I've got do not fit in the gun.

I still really like this gun, with its unique look, very small size and nice performances. I might give it a try in next games, maybe.

Le Magpul PDR-C est un prototype de chez Magpul. Il utilise le concept "PDW" and ressemble beaucoup à un P90, excepté le fait qu'il utilise des chargeurs stanag en 5,56. Cela en fait une arme vraiment petite, mais avec l'avantage de pouvoir utiliser des chargeurs de M4 normaux.

Cette version airsoft est vraiment sympa à mon avis. La finition est très chouette, d'un beau noir bien mat. Sa puissance, 360 fps, me parait raisonnable. Le hop up fonctionne plutôt bien et la réplique a des performances sympa, surtout pour sa taille.

Quelques problèmes cependant : il y a peu de place dans l'emplacement de batterie, on perd pas mal de billes à chaque fois qu'on retire un chargeur (entre 6 et 8) et la poignée est assez petite, ce qui la rend sans doute inconfortable pour certaines personnes.

Aussi, je trouve le bouton (ambidextre) d'éjection du chargeur un peu dur, surtout sur le côté gauche.

Enfin, seul mes chargeurs PTS fonctionnent dans mon modèle. Les quelques chargeurs ACM et mes chargeurs G&P ne rentrent pas dans la réplique.

Cela étant dit, j'aime bien cette réplique, avec son look unique, sa petite taille et ses performances sympa. Je le sortirai peut-être à l'occasion...
