The New Toll plaza rates after 15th August 2025


🛣️ Regular Toll Cost: Kolkata to Puri

From recent sources, here are toll-charges for a non-commercial car (one-way) on the Kolkata → Puri route (≈ 497 km) via NH / expressway:

Pipili Toll Plaza (Cuttack-Puri bypass) ~140


Total approx one-way toll for car/jeep/van: ₹ 815

Cost: ₹ 3,000 per year for non-commercial/private vehicles.

Covers up to 200 toll crossings in that year (or until you reach that number).

🔍 Is the Annual Pass Worth It for Kolkata → Puri Trips?

Let’s see:

A single trip from Kolkata → Puri costs about ₹ 815 in tolls.

If you do the round trip (go + return), toll might be about ₹ 1,630 (assuming same toll both ways).

With the annual pass costing ₹ 3,000, you could do ~2 round trips (i.e. 4 one-ways) and still be under the pass cost (because 4 one-ways ≈ ₹3,260 if we use ₹815 × 4 = ₹3,260).

If you travel more than twice (round trip) in the year on this route (or many smaller trips involving tolls), then the annual pass starts becoming beneficial.
