Oh, Merciful Bodhisattva, candlelight in the dark

噢 不惜風和雨 日夜為眾奔忙
Oh, rain or wind never stops You toiling for all beings day and night

任崎嶇荊棘的山路
Ignore rough roads and thorny bushes alongside

受盡身心情傷囉
Tolerate wounds to the heart and body

跨九州福音揚宣
Trek to nine continents to spread merciful words of wisdom

血淚交織成眾心燈點亮
Illuminate the paths of sentient beings with Your heart lamp of blood and tears

Oh, Merciful Bodhisattva

啊噢菩薩 慈祥的菩薩
Oh, Bodhisattva Merciful Bodhisattva

願用有限生命 生命創無限光芒
Strive to create an infinite life of magnificence with a limited lifetime

築天人中的橋
you are the bridge connecting Heaven and man

噢 傳承慧命
Transmitting/Relaying life's wisdom

聖業綿延流長
Holy mission flows infinitely

那犧牲殉道志節
With an aspiration to sacrifice for the sake of Dao

當作為修道榜樣囉
You set a good example for all cultivators

繼先志無為誠奉 
Follow in the footsteps of predecessors

一心化娑婆成大同蓮邦
Sincerely dedicate Yourself with the only intent to turn the wold into a lotus land of great harmony

Bodhisattva's blessings are turned into strength
