Re-Engineering the Chess Classics: Janowski-Ed.Lasker 1924 Draw London System

This video is in the Re-Engineering the Chess Classics series! To celebrate the publication of my new book (written together with my childhood coach Steve Giddins) I am examining a series of classic games - just as we did in the book - using the creative engine analysis techniques I described in "The Silicon Road to Chess Improvement" At the same time, I get to indulge my current obsessions for a couple of classic players ;) starting with Dawid Markelowicz Janowski. Born in 1867, Janowski is most remembered nowadays for 2 catastrophic matches against the great Emanuel Lasker which have overshadowed the period in his career during which he was one most feared players in the world. For the final game in this series, I have picked the most bananas game that Janowski - or maybe anyone - has ever played. A material balance of 3 central passed pawns and 2 knights against a queen and passed pawn is not from everyday and a final position with 3 connected white pawns on the 7th rank against a queen is also usually only seen in composed puzzles!
