Opening of Al-Shanfara's Lamiyyah in 8th century Classical Arabic pronunciation

Just the opening of one of my favorite Jāhilī poems, read in the same phonology I used here:

With one key difference. Just to try it out, I decided to read ش not as an aveolo-palatal fricative [ɕ] but as a sulcalized palatal fricative, which may be roughly represented as [ç̻]. It is a palatal fricative with lateral contraction, producing a deep groove that focuses the airstream toward the teeth, even as the primary point of articulation remains palatal.
