The video is a record of our village's celebrations of HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022
Bradwell-on-Sea is a small, remote and rural village (population 863) on the tip of Dengie peninsula, near where the River Blackwater meets the North Sea. The village is a historic site, which includes the remains of a Roman fort, Saxon settlement and the oldest consecrated chapel in the country still in use.
It has four quadrants (High Street, Mill End, Othona and Waterside) that together form the community. The hub of the village is our Community Shop and Post Office, managed by two paid staff and a rota of volunteers.
