چون خانه تازه‌ساخت بود، دیگر نیاز نبود زمين را پاک كنم — فقط گرد و خاک را گرفتم و شروع کردم. رنگ اپوکسی را یکنواخت روی زمین مالیدم و وقتی هنوز تر بود، دانه‌های تزئینی (flakes) را رویش پاشیدم.

وقتی خشک شد، سطح کاملاً صاف، براق و بسیار مقاوم شد. رنگ خاکی فضا را روشن‌تر کرد و دانه‌ها جلوه‌ای تمیز و شبیه نمایشگاه به آن دادند.

و بهترین بخش؟ برای این نوع اپوکسی نیازی به جلا (top coat) هم نیست — چون خودش برق و محافظت کافی دارد.
