Put this sorta modern tele together recently, plowing through a bunch of random noodles, breaking it in. Has D’Addario 11-49 (like all my other junk) and plugged straight into a cool Burman 501 combo amp, made in Newcastle in the late 70s. Had Fralin wind me a set of noiseless singles since power can be a bit dodgy in many of the places I play. So far, it’s pretty cool. Plays pretty good.
